I’m featuring three great cookie recipes for holiday baking. I’ve shown them before on the blog but they are worth another look. They all would be excellent choices for Holiday cookie trays.
Classic Sugar Cookies
I just featured these the other day but they are certainly Holiday friendly cookies. The recipe is a simple and easy one. It rolls out beautifully and the cookies taste really good. If you don’t want to bother with piping on decorations you can simply add some sanding sugar or sprinkles before baking and they will be just as pretty.

Chocolate Snickerdoodles
A classic cookie with a slight twist – these chocolate snickerdoodles were a big hit when I sent them in for the firemen one week. They would certainly look great on a cookie tray with traditional snickerdoodles.

Heirloom Vanilla Sugar Cookies
Another simple cookie but one packed with vanilla flavor. To make them you just drop a ball of dough on the cookie sheet and then press it with a glass. To make them more seasonal use red and green sanding sugar. These are great with a cold glass of milk.

Are you ready to do some baking? These three recipes would be a great starting place. They are easy, they are delicious and I’ve made all three of them several times.
