Years ago when I was designing and making jewelry myself I was lucky to meet a woman online who had two shops on etsy; she sold gemstones to other artisans and she also designed and made beautiful jewelry. It was having access to her wide array of stunning gemstones that took my jewelry making to a whole new level. I was never as talented as she is but she did supply me with some truly high quality stones that allowed me to create some beautiful pieces. Now when I am looking for a piece of artisan gemstone jewelry Debbie is where I turn. You will soon see why.
Artisan Gemstone Jewelry from Crysallis Creations
If you are seeking quality gemstones and artistic flair Debbie from Crysallis Creations is for you. I have many, many pieces made by this very talented artisan and every time I wear one whether it be earrings or a necklace I get compliments. The piece shown above started with an absolutely stunning rutilated quartz I had purchased. I didn’t want another necklace and thought it would make a really gorgeous pin. Debbie had never done a pin before but she was excited to try. I am beyond thrilled with the result.
Not to mention she designed it so I have a necklace if I want one; the quartz pops out of the frame and can be hung from a chain. That leaves the frame to also stand alone as a beautiful pin. Brilliance! This was above and beyond what I asked for and I just love it. Debbie will work to specific needs or you can let her brilliant imagination determine the design for you as I did with this piece. Either way you will be sure to be pleased with your finished work of art.
How to Create a Piece of Artisan Jewelry
Step One is obviously find an artisan. Well, I’ve done that for you! Debbie can make whatever you need. She can even pretty much source anything you might want for your piece of jewelry. I have found several interesting stones in a facebook collective she invited me to and have had them sent to her to turn into pendants. She has also sourced some beautiful stones for me. I have a real thing for the beauty that this Earth produces.
I found this blue opal stone in that facebook group I mentioned above. As soon as I saw it I fell in love so I bought it and had it sent to her. See the cat? It’s so cool that nature formed that and it somehow found its way to me. She added the wire wrap at the top and black spinel gemstones and now I have a wearable work of art. I can wear this from a bit of leather or a silver chain. It makes me happy just to look at it.
Gemstone in the Rough
Then there’s this lovely bit of rough sunstone. Isn’t it delightful? It has a lot of sparkle that doesn’t really show in the photo. I’m looking forward to taking several of these pendants with me when we go look at houses in Vermont after the yurt sells. It will be so nice to put real clothes on again. I have been living in yoga pants!
Artisan Earrings for Sale Too
Debbie doesn’t just make pendants and the rare brooch she also makes beautiful earrings. I have to admit that I have a LOT of earrings. When it comes to jewelry, earrings are what I wear the most. When I go out I don’t always wear a necklace or pin but I always put earrings in. It’s nice to have lots of choices to go with whatever I happen to be wearing.
This is why I buy pieces from different jewelry artists – each one gives me something different. When I want lots of sparkle and to perhaps something a little more formal – but not always so – I go to Debbie. She has the gemstones and the unique minerals. Then she can make me anything I might want.
Not to mention all of the beautiful lampwork. She has a stock of beautiful and unusual lampwork beads from a variety of talented artisans that she combines with gemstones and crystals. I love these simple yet bold earrings. They are perfect with jeans and a tee shirt.
