Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 6 oz salmon filet
  • 1 TBS pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp California Raisin Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp stone ground mustard

1 cup cooked rice

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350

  • Mix together the maple syrup, California Raisin Hot Sauce, and stone ground mustard. Stir to combine.
  • Pat dry and salt the salmon on both sides.
  • Spray a small baking tray with cooking spray.
  • Place the salmon in the middle of the baking tray and brush with the glaze.
  • Bake in the preheated over, brushing with more glaze as it cooks.
  • Bake for 20 minutes – it could be slightly more or less depending upon the thickness of your filet.
  • Serve on the rice

Notes

This can easily be doubled.

I served this with a spinach salad with dried cranberries and toasted butternut squash seeds.

*Prep time is quick if your salmon is thawed – obviously it will take longer if it has to thaw
