I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Crepe Erase. I received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
I am getting older. There is no getting around it. You can read my Crepe Erase First Impression post to see my thoughts on this product invented to help with the crepey looking skin on the body. I have a myriad number of products for my face but really nothing for other areas. While the Crepe Erase system does offer facial creams, it’s main focus is the transformation of aging skin on other places of the body like the decolletage, arms, knees and neck. At 55 I must admit that there are areas of my body that don’t quite look like they did when I was 22.
To remind you, Crepe Erase is a two part system utilizing an Exfoliating Body Polish followed by the Intensive Body Repair Treatment. Both contain the proprietary ingredient TruFirm™ to help skin look smoother and younger. Before I get to my results I would like to address a few questions I was asked in the comments of my first post:
1. Does Crepe Erase contain parabens?
- I looked at the ingredient list for both products I was sent and saw no parabens listed.
2. Are the beads in the Exfoliating Body Polish plastic?
- As far as I can tell from the ingredient list they are rehydrated silica
3. Is Crepe Erase tested on animals?
- I am sorry but I could not find an answer for this one.
Now on to my review: I used Crepe Erase on my neck, decolletage, knees and arms. (I must note that during the time I was using the product I was not feeling well and therefore not eating much and I ended up losing about 6 pounds. That might not sound like much but when you are 5′ 6″ and weigh 122 losing 6 pounds is noticeable. I think it might have impacted my results.) The before pictures are on the left, the after on the right -these are not the prettiest photos you will look at today. I could not get decent arm pictures to save my life and handing the hubby a camera while I was half naked was not going to happen:
What I am very happy about is that by trying Crepe Erase I ended up pampering myself far more than I usually do. It got me in the habit of using a rich cream on parts of my body that I usually ignore. I adore the scent. The aroma of oranges would stay with me for a little while after the application of the Intensive Body Repair Treatment and it would make me smile. It’s now part of my anti-aging skin care regime. I was taking time for myself and that makes it very special.
I can’t say that the results are super dramatic but there is a slight change – mostly on my neck – and I’m happy so isn’t that what’s important? I’ve gotten myself into a good skin care routine that I know I’ll continue. Montana has a very dry climate and using the richly emollient Crepe Erase Intensive Body Repair Treatment will certainly be beneficial. The Crepe Erase Exfoliating Body Polish helps to keep my skin looking dewy and fresh. I’ll be ready for summer and those tank tops in very short order.
