It’s time for another Friday’s Hunt – the fun photohunt hosted by Teresa at Eden Hills. Each week there are three prompts and should you decide to join in you can post photos for 1, 2 or all 3 prompt.  This week’s prompts are

  1. Starts with U
  2. Week’s Favorite
  3. Nature

Starts with U

I was out with the hubby the other day. We were on the lot next door shooting some photos for a blog post about my new winter jacket. While we were out I saw Snowy the Farm cat running and jumping around. Then I learned something about my newest cat.

She likes to climb trees! Snowy apparently likes to be up a tree. You can see a video of her descent HERE. I have to admit that I was just happy to see her seemingly having such a good time. She really has settled in around here even though Harry is still trying to kill her.

Week’s Favorite

I took this photo of Harry as he glared at Snowy. I could almost hear his little cat thoughts. Yes, Snowy took the chunk out of Harry’s nose – it was, however self defense. You can see his killer intent in his little cat eyes. I really wish I could get him to settle around her but he is convinced she is his mortal enemy. All of the other cats are fine with her but Harry stands firm in his desire to see her gone.

This photo of Sherpa was a runner up. He loves to sit with one arm hanging over the side like that. It cracks me up. He does look like he owns the joint, doesn’t he?

Nature

Winter is slowly making itself known around here and the mornings are quite chilly lately. The last couple of days we’ve had foggy mornings and therefore a lot of hoarfrost. Snowy was out this morning sitting in the middle of a patch of it and she almost disappeared into it. It does make for a sparkling landscape and it’s a marvelous gift from nature.

I hope you enjoyed the photos from this week. Do be sure to check out the other blogs participating in Friday’s Hunt by heading over to Eden Hills.
