Glogirly Design – She Who Made My Blog Look So Good

I am not a talented sort when it comes to graphic design. I can do simple things but when it comes to important stuff like – oh, my blog theme  – I take it to the experts. When I first started blogging 10 years ago I started on Blogger and I just used one of their themes. It didn’t take any great skill but my blog didn’t look special.

Several years ago I found a blog called Glogirly – it’s a great blog about a Girl and her Cats. If you haven’t seen it you should check it out, it’s truly delightful. What I didn’t know that first day reading the adventures of a sarcastic tuxedo cat is that I would also find a friend.

I have been very lucky to find a lot of friends over the years and I’ve been sharing some of them over the course of this past year- at least once I figured out it was my 10th Blogaversary. I’m sure I’ve forgotten someone and I’m so very sorry, it wasn’t intentional. I just want everyone to know about some talented people I have been lucky to get to know.

Debbie is a very talented graphic designer. She has a business called Glogirly Design where you can find examples of her work.  Very early in our relationship I won a custom greeting card from her and she dressed Pricilla up for me…

…how cute is that? Pricilla was always a bit of a divagoat. Debbie has done all of my graphics work from the header on The Maaaaa of Pricilla to the full redesign of Broken Teepee you saw when I moved to WordPress. I can tell you from experience that working with her is a dream. She takes the snippet of an idea and comes back with something so perfect – it’s amazing. I have loved everything she has done for me.

And now one lucky reader will get to share in the Glogirly magic. One reader will win the choice of a Custom Facebook Header or a Custom Greeting Card designed just for them by Debbie. How cool is that? She will work with you to create something special. I almost with I could enter….heh
