Holiday 2013 and Beyond: Ozeri Touch II Kitchen Scale – Review

I was thrilled to be sent an Ozeri Touch II Kitchen Scale to review as so many of the recipes I use call for weighing my ingredients rather than simple measurement. It’s more precise and especially with baking can lead to better results.

Ozeri Touch II Kitchen Scale - #spon

It’s a very sleek scale and much nice than my old one which was barely holding it together; only half of the numbers would read and it led to some interesting guessing as to what I was seeing. The screen on the Touch II is clear and easy to read. You have your choice of settings from grams and kilograms to fluid ounces, ounces and pounds.

It is easy to switch from one setting to the next by using the unit button. The tare button on the right allows you to add a bowl or cup and start at zero. It is also the on/off button.

To start from zero you just place your bowl on top of the scale, set your unit weight and hit tare. You can see how nicely the screen lights up so that all numbers are very easy to read.  The scale will weigh items from
0.1 oz to 11 lbs (1 gram to 5250 grams.)

I have been using this kitchen scale for a couple of weeks and it has performed very well. It is nice and thin so it store away easily and I just grab it out when I need it. The hubby uses it when he roasts his coffee beans. He finds it easy to use as well and is very please with how easy it is to use.
It cleans up with just quick wipe of dish cloth.

It takes 2 lithium batteries that are included in the purchase price of $21.61 (on Amazon.)  It would make an excellent Christmas present for the baker on your list!

Right now Ozeri is having a holiday sale on several of their items on Amazon:
