I have had cats for the entirely of my married life. There was a short period where I only had one cat and there was an extended period where I had 17. Now as you all know I have 4. It could be said I am a crazy cat lady. I am certainly a cat lady so I was delighted when the very lovely Dorian from CatLadyBox sent me the December box for review. I received the box free of charge and I was under no obligation to provide this review. But I was thrilled with the box and I want to let you know all about it so you can keep it on your radar for your holiday shopping.
The box arrived and I couldn’t wait to open it. In fact I did open and forgot to take pictures so I had to close it and start all over again! Your CatLadyBox will not be ripped when you open it.
Pull back the tissue paper and then the fun begins! Now before I show you what is in my box I want to explain that there are two different levels of CatLadyBox:
- Basic CatLadyBox – one month is $35 and contains 3 “meowvalous” cat items just for human worth at least $50.
- Crazy CatLadyBox – one month is $40 and contains the human gifties plus two cat presents to keep the kitties in the household happy. This box is worth at least $60.
- If you subscribe for more than one month the price goes down. You can learn more at catladybox.com
Now on to my Crazy CatLadyBox! Each box comes with a card describing the contents so you know exactly what you have. Several of the merchants also included coupons for future purchases which is pretty cool. In this Crazy CatLadyBox I found:
- Cats are My Bag tote bag from Xenotees
- Leopard Cat Watch from Tiniest Tiger Studios
- Cat Outline Keychain from The Emporium
- Catnip Drumstick from Housecat Club
- Cloud 9 Cat Treats
The card with the descriptions is a stunning art card from Francesca Rizzato featuring a golden cat. It’s really lovely. The above is the print from which the card is made.
Back to the box! I just love the tote bag and I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it. The keychain is so adorable! I tried so hard to show the sparkle in the picture but I just couldn’t do it. Trust me – this little kitty dances in the light.
The catnip drumstick cracks me up. I know a certain townhouse living cat that would just love this! I wonder if there are catnip waffles too? heh
There is still plenty of time to order a CatLadyBox or Crazy CatLadyBox to send to someone – or yourself! – in time for Christmas. Just head over to catladybox.com to check out all of your options from a 3 month subscription to a year long celebration of all things a CatLady would love.
How much fun would it be to get a CatLadyBox every month of the year?
It is traditional to show one’s cat(s) in the CatLadyBox box but my cats have proven uncooperative so far. Is that not the way of it with cats? When you WANT them to do something they decline. If I wanted them to stay OUT of the box I would not be able to keep them away. I am sure one of them will ultimately get into it and I will share the photo on Facebook. And yes, I did try putting them in the box but all I got were fuzzy photos of cats hopping OUT of the box. Silly Farm cats.
