The city cats were sent a Purrini Modular Pet House kit at no charge. All opinions and meows belong to them alone.
I was contacted by the lovely people at Purrini to see if Harry, Black Cat, Fang and Puffy would like to try out their new modular pet house system. Of course I said yes! We didn’t bring all of their accoutrements cross country when we moved – there was only so much space and their larger scratchers and houses simply would not fit in packing boxes. I’ve acquired some new items since landing in Vermont – scratching posts being most important – but as for hidey holes and the like, they have been lacking.
Having the Purrini Modular Pet House changes that dynamic!
Purrini Modular Pet House
When the Purrini arrived I took it upstairs to the spare bedroom where I unpacked it and spread all the pieces around so I could see what came with the kit.
There was also a rather detailed instructions sheet with lots of illustrations showcasing the variations possible for building your purrsonal Purrini. Well, your cat’s. For anyone normal this makes it very easy to put together the Purrini of your cat’s dreams.
For me – I am spatially challenged. I have never been able to look at directions like this or those tests we used to take and insert tab A into Box B or whatever. So I built my very own design. Erm.
And a box. Black Cat was NOT impressed.
Easy to Build Cat House
These cat castles, houses, lairs, whatever you want to call them were very easy to build even WITH feline assistance and I had a lot of it. Black Cat let’s nothing go by in this house without his observance or “help.” Lucky us?
Once I had four walls up, I had one Black Cat in. And he wanted to stay there no matter what. He is a funny cat.
What I love about the Purrini system is the ease of putting it together and versatility of being able to create so many different configurations to amuse your cat(s). If you were so inclined you could acquire two Purrinis and really go to town!
Harry is zooming with excitement. Well, Harry WAS zooming with excitement. Now he is resting so he can play in his Purrini later tonight. He is my old boy these days so in all truth, Harry does a lot of resting.
Purrini for the Win
As you can see in the above video from Purrini, they have placed a small dog inside. I can see this for a small, well behaved dog. It would certainly make life easy for someone with a dog who isn’t so fond of visitors as you could put a nice pillow, some toys and bone in their very own Purrini castle. Talk about a dog’s life!
The cats I have found are having more fun jumping and leaping in, over, out and through the windows to try and attack each other as cats are wont to do. At least my cats. No matter, they are having fun with the Purrini and that is the point.
How to Get a Purrini for Your Cats
Purrini is currently on Indigogo as a start up so if you would like to get a Purrini for your cats you can go the Purrini Campaign and back it. There are various levels so you can choose what fits your budget – be aware that the amounts in orange are US dollars. There are also prices listed in HK dollars and they are very different.
If you follow the City Cats on my Instagram you will be seeing the Purrini going forward so stay tuned!
