I’ve seen the explosion of the adult coloring book fad and I have to admit that I have been intrigued. When Simon & Schuster contacted me and offered me a copy of the Pusheen Coloring Book for review I figured it might be a chance for me to try it out with one of my favorite subjects – cats!
Who is Pusheen?
Well if you don’t know here are some facts about her:
Birthday: February 18
Sex: Female
Where she lives: In the house, on the couch, underfoot
Her favorite pastime: Blogging, sleeping
Her best feature: Her toe beans
Her favorite food: All of them
The coloring book is full of drawings large and small so it can be enjoyed by humans both large and small. I am no expert but I suspect it is one that might be better used with markers or crayons than colored pencils.
You can see from the photos what I mean. The big photos alternate with the smaller ones but it seems that these are more for kids? I don’t know. I find looking at them makes me smile though so there is that. How can you not smile looking at this chubby little kitty.

I am very happy to report that one lucky US reader will get to win a copy of this charming book.
