Woo hoo for that!
So here is how it all started – my quite small closet.
Hubby started by vacuuming all of the sheet rock dust off of the top of the walls.
He’s a happy worker bee, isn’t he?
Then he set the main support part in.
(I hope my use of these technical terms doesn’t scare you all away.)
Then came the down parts.
Then the shelves.
Lots of shelves!
Then the baskets!
These are sooooo cool. They slide in and out so smoothly. It’s like having a dresser in the closet.
I think I might go and get one more. There is room at the bottom.
Isn’t it just perfect?!
It didn’t take the hubby too long to install and he said it was easy to do. I didn’t watch the whole time I was in grouting the rest of the bathroom. I just ran in periodically to take the photos.
Needless to say I am just THRILLED with it! I have one hanging section that is for my sundresses and the like and then two hanging rods for shorter things like shirts and stuff. The baskets are HUGE and will hold so much. The shelves will be wonderful for additional storage. This makes such good use of the space I have.
There are those two shelves that go the whole length of the closet that are going to be great for storage purposes. I just need to get baskets and containers to fill ’em up!
Next week I will have my summer clothes unpacked and loaded in to my new closet so you can see what it looks like in action.
