I was sent Sunshine Clothes Dryers outdoor clothes dryer in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.
When we lived in Montana, Keith from Sunshine Clothes Dryers sent me the most awesome outdoor clothes dryer. I loved it. Every chance I could I would hang the clothes out to dry. If you ask me there is no better smell than that of clothes dried out on the line. OK, maybe freshly baked bread. But it’s close.
When we moved to Vermont the clothesline stayed with the yurt. I was sad. But I am not any more! Keith has very kindly sent me another Sunshine Clothes Dryer to put in my backyard here in the Green Mountain State!
Why Use an Outdoor Clothesline Like Sunshine Clothes Dryer?
Number one – the sun does not cost you a single penny to use to dry your clothes. OK – you have to purchase a Sunshine Clothes Dryer and some clothespins but once you do the sun is free.
Number two – your clothes will smell heavenly when they come in from drying out in the sun. It is one of my most favorite smells in the world.
Number three – if you iron, you won’t have too because things that hang on the line tend to come in wrinkle free. BONUS!
Number four – and probably the best reason of all, it’s eco-friendly. You don’t burn any electricity to dry your clothes outside.
Easy to Install
Keith very kindly sent all three sizes of his wonderful Sunshine Clotheslines and I will be sharing the other two here in Brattleboro so stay tuned for their installations. The big one is mine. Bwahahahaha. Given the mess the husband makes I end up doing laundry at least once a week so I need a lot of drying space.
I will really get my exercise now given that the washer is upstairs now thanks to the new bathroom/laundry room we just added. As my husband keeps saying – it will be good for me. Ha! I AM looking forward to having the Sunshine Clothesline set up in the backyard though. Especially for our sheets. Again – that smell of clothes dried on the line is just heavenly!
So, keep an eye on the blog as I will soon show you how easy it is to install one of these wonderful energy savers. If you would like to get one for yourself you can go to sunshineclothesdryer.com I really do recommend them. I loved the one I had in Montana and know I am going to love the one I will have here in Vermont.
