I was sent a cat sweater at no charge for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
It’s no surprise to anyone that has been reading this blog for any length of time that I love cats. I mean we bought the tiny trailer so it would be easy to transport them to Vermont. OK, not totally – we were going to eventually get some kind of trailer but needing to find a way to cross the country with our furballs sped up the purchase. One can certainly guess that I love cats. I’ve even made cat cutout cookies. But while I have a lot of cat tee shirts I do not have a single cat sweater – until now.
Super Soft Cat Sweater
When I say super soft, I mean SUPER SOFT. This is not a heavy sweater so it’s great for these early
fall-ish days when the temperature is just cool enough that you want more than a long sleeved shirt. When the colder weather hits you could easily wear a turtleneck underneath or as I do all winter long, a layer of silk long underwear. It really does help keep you warm.
I absolutely adore how cute this sweater is and with all of the colors in it you can wear it with jeans, khakis and leggings of just about any shade. And have I mentioned how soft it is? I kept petting it just like I do my cats.
How Does the Cat Sweater Fit?
As you can see this is not a form fitting sweater. I am wearing a medium. I am not one for wearing really tight or close to the body clothing so I am happy with how this fits me but if you prefer a closer fit keep that in mind as you consider what size to order. The sweater is available in sizes small to 3xl.
How to Care for Your Super Soft Cat Sweater
As the sweater is a wool blend it can’t just be tossed in the wash with your other clothes or you risk ruining it. We have all had that experience when a beloved sweater got mixed up with the laundry and then had to be mourned. You don’t want that for your fun cat sweater so pay attention to the care instructions and be sure and either hand wash it or if you washer has a wool setting (mine does, YAY) use that. Then lay it flat to dry. You can also use a home dry cleaning kit to refresh your hand washables.
Who Would Love a Super Soft Cat Sweater
This cat sweater would make an excellent gift for any cat lover in your life. Shopping for someone is always a challenge but what cat friend wouldn’t love a fun sweater covered in cute cats? Add in that the wool/cotton blend is lightweight, warm and have I mentioned it’s super soft? You have a gift that will be a really big hit.
I know I am going to enjoy wearing this for three seasons; Fall, Winter and Spring. I am imagining it over my navy leggings for a relaxing day at home. Adding a turtleneck underneath and wearing it with jeans will make a fun going holiday shopping outfit and when spring comes around the sweater and jeans will be a purrfect way to celebrate the return of the leaves to the trees and buds on the flowers.
I have to admit that I love the green cat at center. His grumpy outlook just cracks me up.
