I am a member of the Collective Bias ® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser.

I don’t know about you but laundry day is not my favorite day of the week – it is though, a very necessary task. It was my mother who gave me my first lessons on doing the wash and she told me her tricks for sorting laundry. Not that it’s all that tricky: she taught me to make piles –  whites, colors, darks and gentles. She stressed to me that to prevent color bleeding I had to make sure that I never washed my whites and my colors together. She shared her stories of laundry disasters where instead of nice white t-shirts my father had pink ones.

Little did my mother know that my laundry issues would be all about keeping my brights from my husband’s darks. I wear a lot of bold, happy colors; sunshine yellow, hot pink, coral, turquoise and lime. These are not colors that my mother had to worry about; her problem colors were red and blue. What I do know is that I don’t want my yellows dotted with blue from his jeans anymore than he wants his uniform shirt streaked by the fuchsia from my favorite blouse.

That’s why I am so happy I found Purex® No Sort™ For Colors Laundry Detergent! This new product is designed to help me do less laundry because I won’t need to sort my clothes. I will end up saving time, energy and money:

1. I will use less water
2. I will use less electricity powering the washer
3. I will use less gas running the dryer in the winter
4. I will cause less wear and tear on both appliances
5. I will use less laundry soap due to fewer loads washed

For example, today I was able to combine what would have been two loads into one since I didn’t have to worry about color bleeding thanks to Purex® No Sort™. I did carefully read the information on the back of the bottle and it did alert me that the product is innovative but it’s not a miracle worker – if I have brand new clothes I should be sure to wash them at least 5 times before I let them share a load. Especially jeans – we all know how notorious jeans are about releasing dye into the wash water when they are new. Going forward I figure Purex® No Sort™ is going to save me between 2 and 4 loads of laundry a week.

Woo-hoo!

I found my new favorite in the cleaning aisle of my local Walmart – you know, the one with bleach, dish detergent,  mops and brooms and laundry detergents.

It was easy to spot in with the other Purex® detergents. The bold blue bottle with the red cap stands out on the shelf.  It was a very economical purchase – one bottle will wash 41 regular loads. I don’t know about you but sometimes I end up washing half a load because I don’t have enough whites or colors to make up a full load. It’s frustrating but items like his uniform need to be washed every week whether I have enough to make a complete load or not. Now with the Purex® No Sort™ I will always be able to run a full washer!

It was a gorgeous, sunny day so the clothes went on the line to dry. I now had some extra time since I was able to do everything in one load instead of two. What to do, what to do? I decided to play with the goats. I don’t get as much time to just sit and enjoy them as I would like so I took advantage of it.  Thank you Purex®!  I really like the way you have made #LaundrySimplified.

Goats grazing, #LaundrySimplified, #shop, #CollectiveBias

I took my book out with me and sat in the grass. I read for a bit but per usual I found myself distracted by the goats, the chickens and my surroundings.  AbbyGoat wandered over to try and nibble my book see what I was doing.

It’s very hard to take a selfie with a goat!
But it is a lot of fun!
After that she wandered off to eat some grass so I just lay down on the cool grass in the warm sunshine to relax.

Aaaaah, it was heavenly!
I watched the birds fly by and I found myself drifting off to sleep.
But a shadow soon loomed and I woke with a start!

The #CollectiveBias maintains that you do not want this to be the first thing you see when you wake up!

Gah!
What a sight to see upon awakening.
My goats do keep me on my toes, even if I’m lying on my back!
I guess that meant it was time to get back to the real world.
Thanks Purex® No Sort™ for the time I had to just enjoy the afternoon with my goats. I know I’ll also appreciate the extra time I’ll have going forward. Canning season is coming up and I’ll need every spare minute I can find.

Purex® No Sort™ uses its Anti Color Transfer Technology to trap loose dyes and not let them settle on clothes. It cleans clothes well and does so at a very reasonable price –  in fact it is a third the cost of the detergent I had been buying previously. Combine that with the fact that I’ll end up using less because I’ll do fewer loads overall and the money I’ll be saving will really add up. I think I’ll put it aside for a special dinner after fire season ends.  That will give me something to look forward to – I love date nights with the hubby.
