It’s rare that the Farm cats all agree on the same thing. They are very unique in their personalities. But they have banded together to get the word out for #CatDentalHealth Month. They want every pet owner far and wide to realize that Cat Teeth Matter!
They are not being paid to write this post ( they were paid to tweet and post on Facebook) but they felt the message was too important not to share.
Dental disease in cats can lead to all manner of issues and can shorten their lives. You can see from the above chart that is is also much cheaper to care for your pet’s teeth than to deal with the consequences of not doing so.
They get Greenies Dental Treats (they did get some for free for tweeting and facebooking) every day to help with keeping their teeth free from tartar. They are on sale at PetSmart through the end of February – so are doggie dental treats for those of you with dogs.
So I ask you to join with the Farm cats and spread the word that cat (and dog) teeth do matter and need care. You certainly don’t want your pets to lose their teeth when a few simple steps can keep them strong and healthy. You can learn more about cat dental health and keep your cat’s smile bright.
As Sherpa meows – there is no shame in doing so! But a toothless cat, that is another story, isn’t it? Share the word AND the hashtag #CatTeethMatter2
