Starts with S
It’s been rather summer like around these parts this week. I’ve been sitting on my swing bench watching the goats graze. They are really enjoying all of the green grass and weeds that have grown thanks to all of the sun.
They also love to jump on and munch on the old tree stump. It’s fun to watch them battle over who will reign.
The strawberries are starting to blossom so hopefully fruits will follow soon. I hope we have a better crop than last year. The hubby planted a second strawberry garden this year but it won’t give us fruit until next year.
Scarlett O’Henna was out walking with her boyfriend. They are pretty much inseparable. They are the only chickens that sleep in the duck house with the Happy Ducks.
Last night some wild storm clouds blew through bringing rain, hail, wind, thunder and lightening. I can do without them thank you very much!
Week’s Favorite
I could not believe it when I came upon three of the four Farm cats all on the swing bench AT THE SAME TIME. The Farm cats tend to give each other a wide berth. It did not last very long but the fact that it lasted long enough for me to get photos was shocking enough. It’s not a great photo but it’s one I really love.

I will leave you with this one from the archives. Pricilla always seemed to have a smile on her little goat face. She ALWAYS made me smile.
