The Farm cats bring me great joy. When I’m sad they make me laugh. If I’m not feeling well they comfort me. They are a very important part of my life. Because of that I want to make sure they get the care they need and see that they eat a healthy diet. Hill’s® Science Diet® has an initiative called Healthier Pets. Happier Lives™ and I think it’s a wonderful way to approach living with pets.

Healthier Pets. Happier Lives™
Healthier Pets. Happier Lives™ is an initiative from Hill’s Science Diet to educate pet owners about the importance of regular, preventative care and a healthy diet for their animals. Regular exams by a veterinarian can catch issues before they become real problems. Dental exams are very important so that any plaque buildup can be addressed before it leads to tooth loss.
Senior cat screenings should start at age 7. (Don’t tell Sherpa! He still thinks he’s a kitten!) All of the information the vet learns can be compiled and a plan can be created just for your pet. Vaccinations are important too – be sure to keep up on what your pet needs. These vet check ups are an important part of keeping your pet healthy.
Hill’s wants to help you with the costs of visiting the vet! 100 winners over 100 days will win $100 towards veterinary care.
How exciting is that?
Enter the sweepstakes here. Further information and full rules will be available when you click plus you can learn more about Hill’s vet recommended pet food and you will find pet care tips.
A Healthy Diet is Important
It is vital to feed your pets the best diet you can. I know there are all manner of beliefs on what is best. There are pros and cons to each of the different types of feeding and I am not going to get into them here. What works for the Farm cats may not work for someone else’s cats. I’ve got five cats, two of them with sensitive stomachs. I do not want to tell you how many different foods I tried before I found what worked for my clowder and yes, one of those foods is kibble.
As part of this post I was sent a bag of Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and Skin to offer to my furballs. I presented it to all of them – Sherpa and Pumpkin are the ones with the tummy troubles. Out of the five Snowy and Sherpa wouldn’t touch the food. Stinky, Pumpkin and Harry loved it. Oh – Kitty the Feral Farm cat gobbled it up too.
The company also offers Hill’s® Science Diet® Youthful Vitality, Perfect Weight, Oral Care, Grain Free, Healthy Mobility, Urinary & Hairball Control, Hairball Control, or Multiple Benefit. There is a chow for just about every need. Here is some exciting news to help with your purchase!
