I have exciting news. In fact we are celebrating here on the Farm!
Would you like to know why? Of course you would!
Natural Balance® Cat Food (and Dog Food) is now available at PetSmart®! We Farm cats love how tasty this food is and we were very happy the publicist went shopping for us.
She thought about taking Harry the Farm cat with her because she thought he might like to go exploring around the store. She also thought he might like to go riding in the cart. He is an adventurous cat – but then she remembered PetSmart sells rodents.
Rodents like gerbils. And hamsters.
Can you imagine Harry the Farm cat if he saw a gerbil? He’d hop right out of the cart and suddenly the publicist would have an extra charge on her slip at checkout. And a “situation” to deal with if you know what I mean.
It would not be good.
But back to the yumminess that is Natural Balance. You know that I am always up for a taste test. In fact if any of you need a taste tester I’m available.

OK, back to business. The publicist had a great shopping trip at PetSmart and brought us home lots of Natural Balance to add to our food pantry. She bought some we hadn’t tasted before like Wild Pursuit kibble.
Did you know that Natural Balance Wild Pursuit features a high protein, grain free meal for your kitty? It has freeze dried raw pieces mixed in with the kibble. This was a great choice for us Farm cats because it serves all life stages and we range in age from 6 to 12+. I meow was because the bag is empty! The publicist needs to open the other flavor she bought – and soon!
Natural Balance has foods for all of your pet needs including weight management and they also have a line with limited ingredient for those of you that have pets with allergies.
We eat kibble but it is the wet food that we really love. The publicist picked up all the different kinds that Natural Balance has to offer; Delectable Delights, Wild Pursuit, Platefulls and Ultra Premium. She knows that we all have our little, let’s meow quirks, about what we will and won’t eat around here.
Our favorite by far was the Delectable Delights.
Pumpkin the Farm cat was the first to give them a try. He really enjoyed the Land ‘n Sea Cats-serole. (The publicist loves the cute names these foods have.)
The Catatouille was pretty popular too.
That’s what Stinky the Farm cat had for breakfast. She gobbled it right down and then looked at the publicist with her best sad eyes begging for more. When that didn’t work she meowed piteously. When that didn’t work she out and out MEYOWLED!

I am showing you how tasty the Platefulls are and Harry took some time out of his busy day to taste test the Wild Pursuit. Since the movie was made we have eaten ALL of the Natural Balance foods and let’s just say we are well fed, satisfied cats. But truth be told we have been enjoying this food for a while – it’s just easier for the publicist to buy it for us now!
It will be so convenient for her to just pop into PetSmart when she is in Missoula, That makes it more likely that we will get even MORE Natural Balance to eat. I can go to sleep and dream of Delectable Delights morning, noon and night!
All of the employees at the PetSmart are always very friendly and helpful. She told me that they assisted her in finding just where the Natural Balance was in the store – although there were plenty of signs that made it very easy to find. The store is really celebrating the addition of this food to their unparalleled selection of quality pet products.
