As I’ve mentioned I am celebrating my 10 year Blogaversary! Sometimes I can’t believe that I have been sharing my thoughts, book reviews, recipes and life on the Farm here at Broken Teepee for that long. I’m holding a series of giveaways all year long to thank you for being my readers and for taking this journey with me.
As many of you know I also make soap with the goats’ milk. My shop is Happy Goat Soap although I usually refer to it as Pricilla’s soap even though Pricilla has gone on to that big field in the sky. I miss her quirky goat personality around the Farm. I think the other goats do too.
But today I am celebrating!
I sent out an order of favor soaps today and that always makes me happy because I know that someone is getting married, having a baby or having a party. Today’s soaps are bridal shower favors and the buyer wanted a simple white ribbon.
I’ve done other orders with a Dr. Seuss theme but most are just done simply with the bags tied up with the colors of the wedding or in blue or pink.
I’ve also provided larger soaps for a wedding with a bird theme. These are also available for purchase as guest soaps. Of course Pricilla has lots of different soaps for sale from plain bars to the ever popular Bacon Bits the pig soaps.
I have several different styles of favor soaps. You can see them in the shop. They are all very affordable – the most expensive is the bird one above – and run between $1 and $2. They come to you in a biodegradable cello bag, with a tag or sticker and tied with ribbon or raffia in the color(s) of your choice.
I can also wrap the rectangular soaps like little presents for a slight upcharge, just due to the time involved if you’d like. I’ve done the larger soaps like pigs, frogs and mice for children’s birthday parties. They are a little more expensive because they are bigger soaps. Pricing for them is based on volume.
