From the Garden: Lots and Lots of Broccoli!

In past years the broccoli harvest from the garden has been limited at best. The hubby didn’t know why but tried again this year to produce a decent crop.

I would say he succeeded.
That photo shows just the first group of heads he brought in!

After breaking it down and packaging it for the freezer it was 8lbs of broccoli!

Just look at this one head!
HUGE!

The broccoli harvest provided food for the humans.

Food for the chickens in the way of icky cabbage worms.

And food for the goats.
Way to go broccoli harvest.

Not to mention that this year it won’t be all beans, beans, beans.
