Big news was received at the end of last week. I found out that I will be attending the 10th Anniversary BlogPaws Conference in April. I didn’t think I’d be able to attend this year but I was chosen to receive a full sponsorship from Chewy®. I am beyond thrilled to be attending this pet blogger’s conference for a number of reasons and I hope you will enjoy reading about my adventures and consider attending yourself.
I am a BlogPaws® Conference Sponsored Blogger on behalf of Chewy.com. I am being compensated to help share information about the BlogPaws 10th Anniversary Conference and Chewy.com with my readers and fellow influencers, Neither Chewy.com or BlogPaws are responsible for the content of this article.
BlogPaws - The Pet Blogger’s Conference
This year’s conference is in Kansas City, Missouri, and it runs from April 18-20. It will be the third BlogPaws I’ll have had the good fortune to attend. My first was in Las Vegas, and the second was Nashville. Each conference was a wonderful experience for me in many ways:
- I met so many bloggers that I had previously only known online
- The sessions I attended taught me so much
- Meeting and making contacts with brand representatives
- I got to share a bed with a very famous internet cat!
OK, so maybe that last one is a little crazy, but I’m a cat person. This year is BlogPaws 10th Anniversary so it’s going to be a very special conference. I’m happy to note that it will be a zero waste conference. I’ll write more about what that means in a later blog post.
One piece of big news is that BlogPaws was purchased by Chewy!
You know how much the Farm cats love Chewy.com - their food comes from the company every month in several large boxes. In fact I think it’s almost a competition over whether the boxes are as popular as the food. They love their delivery and as soon as it shows up Harry turns into chief inspectorcat. Or napper - take your pick. I love that I don’t have to worry about running out of cat food. It just arrives every month on the date I pick. Shipping is free with orders over $49
What’s New at BlogPaws This Year?
At the heart of BlogPaws is educating and helping social media influencers. I’ve been a member for more years than I care to remember. Each conference I’ve attended has taught me valuable skills. To celebrate this special 10th anniversary BlogPaws is opening up Experiential Areas for attendees to interact with brands, guest speakers and each other.
The Office Experiential Area is described like this:
- Need pointers on taking more professional images for your Blog Posts? Check out some new gadgets for your home office. Does your pet dream of visiting the Florida Beaches? Let us take some pics of your pet on our fun beach themed backdrop!
The Farm cats are always helping me while I blog so they are most interested in the Office area. I de believe they think they could do a better job! I had better watch out or the Farm cats will end up on a plane to Florida.
I’m sure they will have more to say about some of the other areas as we go forward. For now they think the kitchen area should offer treats for cats too! They might just go on strike as it only mentions dog biscuits right now.
Tickets Are Still Available if You Want to go to BlogPaws!
Tickets are still available for anyone wanting to attend this 10th Anniversary Blogpaws. In addition to all of the learning it is a lot of fun and I can’t thank Chewy enough for sponsoring my trip to the conference.
You can check out the BlogPaws Conference Agenda to see what is in store for you if you do attend. If you are thinking of going please use my affiliate link to make your ticket purchase. (If you do I get a small commission at no additional charge to you): Purchase BlogPaws Conference Tickets
Past Conference Fun
When I went to Nashville Famous SpokesGoat Pricilla was still on the Farm and she thought SHE was going to BlogPaws! Can you imagine? She even put on her traveling beret but it didn’t help. She did look good in that goat tee shirt though….
I can tell you that from the sessions to the closing banquet the BlogPaws conference is well worth attending. If you have any questions just ask in the comments and I’ll do my best to answer them myself or find the answers for you. I’ll be live tweeting, facebooking and instagramming from the conference so stay tuned for that and be sure to follow Broken Teepee on:
