I was sent a ButcherBox at no charge. ButcherBox links are affiliate links and I may receive a small commission if you make a purchase through one. I only write about and endorse products that I have used and like. And I like ButcherBox!

So, what is ButcherBox?

ButcherBox a delivery service for high quality meat; chicken, pork, fish, and beef. You choose the program you want; there are four: Custom, Mixed, Beef and Chicken, or Beef and Pork. Then you choose how much and how often and you are good to go.

I can tell you that everything I received in my box was of excellent quality and what we have eaten so far has been delicious. Today I am sharing a recipe for ribs (I love ribs) and in the next week or so I will share a recipe for chicken tenders.

Right now new users who sign up get FREE chicken nuggets in your box for a year and $20 off your first 5 boxes but only if you do so before March 31st.

How Were the Maple Barbecue Ribs?

Uhm, do you have to ask? They are ribs, they were slow cooked and they have barbecue sauce on them. They were AWESOME. Meaty, tender and uber-delicious. The sauce was something I just came up with because the husband is making his own maple syrup!

Yes, he with the help of our neighbor, has tapped the maple tree in our backyard. He is boiling (and boiling and boiling and boiling) the sap down to syrup. It’s really quite the process and not at all cost effective! But the result is really amazing when it comes to the taste.

dinner for two

We have both been enjoying the meat from our ButcherBox. Next week I will share a recipe for chicken tenders so be sure to look out for it. Don’t forget that great code good for the month of March – MARCH100 and you will get $20 your first 5 boxes (and free chicken nuggets!). Just use the link below:
