It’s Friday so you know what that means – Friday’s Hunt! The fun photohunt hosted by Teresa at Eden Hills. You can join in at any time. Each week there are three prompts and you can post photos to correspond with 1, 2 or all three of the prompts.

This week’s prompts are:

  1. Starts with W
  2. Week’s Favorite
  3.  Rough

Starts with W

I love the wildflowers that grow around the farm. Most call them weeds but I love looking out my window as spring comes on and seeing all of the pretty colors that Nature provides. At least until they get eaten….

Week’s Favorite

My favorite photo this week would have to be one I took of Pumpkin the Farm cat. He was a frisky boy the other day and he actually played with me. This was a highly unusual occurrence. Pumpkin is very shy and tends to sleep the day away in some hiding places I have never found. I was truly shocked when Pumpkin got frisky – he just doesn’t do that.

Jenn the goat

This was a rough weekend. I will go into more detail in a longer post and I’ve been putting off writing about it at all but this word seems to invite the beginning of my discussion. Debbie and Jenn the goats left the Farm. They have gone to live on a much larger farm with llamas and alpacas. The woman who took them uses her animals as therapy animals visiting schools and nursing homes and she hopes to train Debbie and Jenn to go with her.

I will miss those little goats.

I do know they will be very happy in their new home once they get used to it. It is much, much bigger than our little farm. They will grow old in wide open (fenced) fields running with llamas and alpacas. Wish them well.

Be sure to head over to Eden Hills to check out all of the other blogs participating in Friday’s Hunt.
