I was sent items of clothing at no charge from a LuLaRoe consultant. This LuLaRoe review is my opinion and was not impacted by my receipt of the free items.
Life is funny. I was chatting online with a friend and she mentioned this company, LuLaRoe. I had never heard of it. She told me that they made the world’s most comfortable leggings. I don’t wear leggings so I really didn’t give it too much further thought. But you know how things work once you have your eyes opened to something - suddenly it’s all you see and hear about and so it was with me and LuLaRoe. All of a sudden I was seeing Facebook posts right and left about the company and their colorful, comfortable clothing.
Then I was presented with the opportunity for a LuLaRoe Review! I was sent a skirt and a pair of leggings at no cost, but before I get into the clothing let me tell you a little bit about how the buying process works - it’s a little bit different. To buy LuLaRoe you first need to find a consultant. That is very easy to do they are all over Facebook. The one who sent me these items is no longer in business.
How to Buy LuLaRoe
When the event is announced you show up and the consultant starts listing the photos of the pieces she has on hand at that time. If someone wants a piece they comment sold on the Facebook post. The new and popular prints go very quickly - especially in the leggings. When I went to my first event to see what it was all about I knew I wanted a skirt so I waited for them to appear. I had checked the size guide so I knew I needed an XS. LuLaRoe has sizes from XXS to 3X so just about every woman can find comfortable clothing to suit their style. They also have Tall and Curvy leggings, tween leggings and dresses and leggings for little girls.
When the maxi skirts came up I looked through and found a really pretty print. Actually I found a couple but the lovely blue and yellow floral above really was calling my name.
Prints, Prints, Prints - LulaRoe is All About the Prints
LuLaRoe is all about the prints and they do have some really gorgeous ones. In fact I saw one I fell in love with on a dress - the Nicole - but it was not available in my size. This is where a buyer can be really disappointed. Since the consultants are sent their inventory randomly if you see a print you adore your consultant might not have it in your size. I will note that they will do what they can to find it for you from other consultants - they aim to please their customers.
And this is how I came to own my Nicole dress in the print I love so much. The consultant searched and found it for me in my size in another person’s inventory. (I paid for the dress.) She sent me the link to that consultant’s Facebook group and I bought the dress from her. I’ve got it paired with the leggings from LuLaRoe - my very first time wearing leggings people! - and a jeans jacket. This lets a short sleeved dress go three seasons.
The material is super soft and you would think it would cling to every lump and bump but it doesn’t. Even in the back where I have problems with bulges from my bra they don’t show even though this dress fits very close to my body. It’s going to be heavenly for traveling because you can roll this material in a ball and it doesn’t wrinkle.
Maxi Skirt Comfort
The maxi skirt has a wide elastic waist band and it can also be a strapless dress - at least for those with the, erm wherewithal to hold it up. My wherewithal needs Victoria’s Secret so I don’t do strapless…. I do adore maxi skirts though and this is a perfect length for me. It can be dressed up with heels as I am showing here or simple summer sandals would go just as well.
The print on the skirt is so pretty and it lets me pair it with so many different tops. Today I chose a Gap tank in navy and a Michael Stars tee in lemon yellow. My AlterreNY heels are the perfect footwear.
I’m very pleased with my LuLaRoe clothing. The prices are not out of line and they wash very well. As I noted above they pack like a dream.
